- added dpfilelist switcher
smokepatch has been always built for offline modes, we cannot preserve online compatibility because the database in smokepatch is much bigger and different than the game, so if you want to play online you need to deactivate the patch, we have included a small switcher to apply dpfilelist for smokepatch or original for online play, located inside the game folder.
Options available:
- SP20 dpfilelist
this will restore the default SP20 files for offline modes, might come handy in case you missed up the patch dpfilelist.
- Game dpfilelist
this will apply the dpfilelist for the original game, the patch will be deactivated.
- Reset CPK files
this will reset all the extra cpk files and put the original empty cpk files, all user additions will be removed.

Teams and Leagues:
same as every year, we started to change the teams in the game, the first step was to remove the duplicated Chinese clubs from the game, then start adding teams and national teams, we will keep adding more in every update until all slot is used, this year we have a lot of available slots so many teams will be added.
- Removed 4 duplicated Chinese teams from AFC
the AFC is in a separate database level, so four Chinese teams exist in the AFC database and in the CSL as well, which will result in duplicates and players in the master league mode and other modes, these teams are removed and replaced with other Asian teams.

SP20 bundesliga preview
- Classic teams:
SP20 has corrected the names of the two classic teams already in the game, added real faces for most of the classic players, added an updated version of the classics we have created in previous versions.

- Editable teams
as in previous versions, we keep two fully editable teams for user edits (we united and pes united), you can edit them to any teams you want, see the import edits tutorial for how to keep the edits when SP has a new update.
* in version 20.0.2 and newer, we have renamed these two teams to (Bate Borisov and Madura United) and added their real flags, they are still fully editable and unlocked.
Players
smokepatch20 have licensed and corrected all player's names, many youth players added to the database and assigned to their respective teams, stats are according to the newest Konami database, all the players added to the database uses original correct ID unless never existed in previous games.
there are still many fake players in the fake clubs, will be removed when we remove the fake teams and add real ones.
Faces and Mini-faces
the face pack is bundled in the patch, with a total size of 4.7 GB worth of faces, more than 1000 real faces added to the game for more enjoyable gaming.
our mini faces we use in smokepatch versions is huge (game-plan picture), the pack covers around 12.000 real player mini faces all with high quality.
Kits
all the teams in smokepatch have real kits, most of the kits are also updated to their latest designs, all the kits are in high quality created especially for SP20
as usual, we constantly review and update the kits in every update for the patch.
Stadiums
this year we only use the game stadiums in the patch, we might be opting for more stadiums via a server like we did in sp19, stadium ad-boards are not included in the patch, but are available as an optional addon.
Boots, Gloves, and Balls
SP20 comes with the maximum of 100 real boots, 30 real gloves, and new balls for the new season of most of the leagues and competitions, we have kept a couple of nice balls made by Konami this year, balls are assigned to their respective teams in the edit file accompanied with smokepatch.

Installation:
1- Extract patch files
get all parts and be sure all are completed, extract only part one the rest will be extracted automatically, don't move any of the installation files or folders, and be sure you do not get any errors.
2- Run (smokepatch20.0.0.exe)
run the installer and choose the game installation folder, the patch must be installed in the same game folder, be sure you don't get errors, and that the installer finished successfully.
3- Install patch update
get the latest patch update (if available), only install the latest update because it will include any needed previous updates for the patch.
4- Copy the Edit file
manually copy the edit file (edit00000000) that comes with the latest update, replace the file in the save folder of the game in documents.

Deactivate Live Update:
NOTES
- better if you remove all the files in the download folder of the game before installing smokepatch (to save disk space and avoid conflicts)
